Now that some time has passed, Jacob’s parents David and Leyla are hopeful that he is gradually beginning to turn a corner. To their horror, however, the 16-yearold lad seems to be more in love with Maya than ever…

Over the past couple of months, David and Leyla have been slowly trying to rebuild their fractured relationship with Jacob, who refuses to listen to reason and blames them for Maya being torn away from him. However, it looks as if Jacob might be making some progress when he begins to think about what the future holds after he leaves school – reassuring his loved ones that he’s moving on with his life. But when David finds a photo of Maya stashed among his son’s belongings, he and Leyla realise that Jacob still has feelings for his abuser and plans to wait for her.
