Belle is appalled by Faith

The truth about Faith’s recent snog with her former flame, Zak Dingle, comes out in the worst possible way this week – as Belle overhears Bear gossiping about it!
Faith and Zak’s kiss happened not long after the tragic death of his wife, Lisa. Homeless Faith had moved into the Dingle house, and as she was comforting her ex, they both ended up taking things too far – and agreed it was a mistake straight afterwards. So the last thing either of them wants is for Belle to find out the truth…
“It would break Belle’s heart to know that her father was
locking lips with Faith so soon after her mum’s tragic death,” predicts our Emmerdale insider. “She’s bound to see it as a huge betrayal of Lisa’s memory, and goodness knows if she’d ever be able to forgive her dad for committing such a terrible sin!”
So far, both Faith and Zak have done a sterling job of keeping their illicit smooch under wraps – with Bear the only other person who knows their secret. He caught the pair of them having a hush-hush conversation in the cellar of the Woolpack recently, and jumped to the conclusion that they were having an affair! However, before he had the chance to spill the beans to their family, quick-thinking
Faith turned the tables on Bear – by revealing that he can’t read.
Since then, Faith and Zak have agreed to sweep their foolish moment of passion under the carpet. But it all comes flooding back to Faith this week after amorous Bear makes a move on her.
When Faith tries to gently rebuff his advances, Bear doesn’t take her rejection well – and assumes it’s because she still has feelings for Zak! But as Bear and Faith discuss what really went on between her and Zak, little do they realise that Belle is behind them, and has overheard everything…
“Poor Belle can’t believe her ears!” states our spy. “The idea of her dad moving on from her mum so quickly – and with Faith, of all people – is just incomprehensible. She’s absolutely furious with them!”
But as Belle struggles to get her head round her dad’s terrible actions, what will she have to say to Zak when she finally catches up with him?
