Yashvi finds Ned with Scarlett
YASHVI RUMBLES NED GETTING COSY WITH SCARLETT…
Yashvi is utterly horrified this week, when she walks into the Willis household to discover Ned asleep on the sofa with half-naked Scarlett in his arms! However, what Yashvi doesn’t realise is that it’s all part of conniving Scarlett’s plan to tear the couple apart…
“Yashvi suspects that Scarlett is interested in Ned,” explains Olivia Junkeer, who plays feisty Yashvi. “But she doesn’t suspect that she has any intentions other than to be around Ned. Yashvi is easily intimidated by other women, and her initial response is to be jealous of her.”
With the couple already on the rocks, Yashvi is persuaded by Bea to make amends with Ned. But when Yashvi arrives, she finds Ned shirtless and asleep with bikini-clad Scarlett beside him. Distraught Yashvi leaves – and after she later confronts oblivious Ned, she decides they’re over!
“Ned is Yashvi’s safe haven, and her escape,” Olivia tells us. “Although, there have been lots of ups and downs in their relationship, and in her mind, Ned breaks her heart. So technically, Yashvi doesn’t see it as her ending anything. She believes that this is all coming from him, and that this is what he wants.”
Scarlett has been busy scheming to break up the couple since she arrived in Erinsborough. And Olivia reveals that her alter ego’s relationship might be too far gone to salvage…
“It’s a tricky one because Scarlett does such a lot of damage,” sighs the star. “You will see Yashvi at her most vulnerable, the nitty gritty of a relationship breakdown, and her struggle with that for the first time ever. So I think that there is potential for them to survive and get over it and become a stronger couple, but it takes a huge toll. I think they make a great couple, and they really complement each other.”
Will Yashvi and Ned realise what Scarlett is up to and reunite? Or will Ned fall hook, line, and sinker for stalker Scarlett’s charm?
