As Lee dies, Robert faces jail!

THE DEATH OF RAPIST LEE CHANGES EVERYTHING FOR THE COUPLE…

- Kate White

Robert and Aaron pack up and flee Emmerdale this week – following the shock death of Victoria’s rapist Lee Posner.

Having pleaded guilty to the assault on Lee, Robert has come to terms with spending some time behind bars, away from Aaron and the family he loves. But when Lee dies of his injuries in hospital, Robert’s world turns upside down. Now, he’s not looking at a few years, he’s looking at a life sentence for murder!

“Robert is a self-confessed killer and the police are coming for him,” reveals our Dales insider. “Victoria gets a call to say that Lee is dead, and she rushes over to tell Robert and Aaron. It’s horrendous for everyone because they know that this will likely mean life in prison. Suddenly, the future they’ve all been dreaming of has been snatched away.”

Robert goes into panic mode as he realises the enormity of his situation, with desperate Aaron unsure which way to turn. It’s Liv who tells them there’s only one thing to do – they need to get out of Emmerdale fast. Although Aaron can’t bear the thought of leaving his sister and the rest of the family, he also can’t face the idea of losing Robert. So, with their difficult decision made in haste, the couple quickly pack up and say goodbye.

“It’s unbearable for them both, particularly with Chas and Victoria being pregnant,” explains our spy. “When Aaron goes to tell Chas, it’s a horrible moment. She’s distraught at the idea of saying goodbye to him, not only because it’s such an important time for her, but also because she has no idea if she’ll ever see him again. Aaron will have to give up everything and put himself in trouble with the law too. However, it’s either that or lose Robert forever.”

The family gathers as Robert and Aaron throw their stuff into the car and speed off. They know that they will now be running from the police for the rest of their lives.

Can they get away?
