Lydia catches out Mandy & Vinny
SHE AND BOY VINNY HAVE CROSSED THEIR MOST DANGEROUS NEMESIS…
Mandy and son Vinny are in for an uncomfortable ordeal this week, after the Dingles discover their foiled attempt to steal Lydia’s inheritance! They’re hauled in front of a Dingle court – but that’s soon the least of their worries, as they run into Terry, the casino owner to whom the pair owe an awful lot of money…
It then transpires that Charity has also been involved in Vinny and Mandy’s casino scam. So, when Terry makes it clear to the pair that their lives are on the line if they don’t pay up, they’ll need their nearest and dearest back on side. But will Charity come clean, or abandon Mandy and Vinny to take the hit?
“Can you believe it? Charity may have been in cahoots with Mandy all this time!” chuckles our Dales insider. “Who knows how she’s involved, but she’s certainly keeping her counsel when the Dingle court begins – seemingly abandoning
Vinny and Mandy to their fate. You can’t blame her for not inviting the wrath of her clan, but surely she’ll be stirred into action once Terry starts throwing his weight around?”
It’s after Lydia catches Mandy and Vinny trying to hack into her bank account that their game is well and truly up – and their hapless bid to escape falls apart when the Dingle van, which they’ve also stolen, breaks down on their way out of the village.
Mandy thinks they can wriggle their way out of trouble by coming clean about why she and Vinny needed the cash so desperately – having run a casino card counting scam in a number of Terry’s establishments. This is when Charity’s mysterious involvement comes to light – but meanwhile, Vinny is

concerned about a very different secret being revealed! However, as the Dingles consider their decision, Terry himself turns up, providing an unfortunate distraction for all…
“The look on Mandy’s face says it all!” cringes our sneak. “She’s crossed this man, and he’s not happy. Mandy and Vinny are left in no doubt over the fate in store for them should they not stump up his cash. So they’re left at the mercy of their fuming family in their hour of very great need!”
As we wonder what role Charity played in the scheme, can she and the other Dingles be relied upon to rush to the rescue? And what exactly is Vinny keen to keep under wraps?
