Dotty sabotages Keegan’s business
THE TROUBLESOME MINX THREATENS TO RUIN HIS NEW BUSINESS…
Walford plays host to scenes that Apprentice tycoon Lord Sugar would be proud of this week, as Keegan continues to make a go of his new business, Baker’s Sandwiches.
However, just when his enterprising new venture appears to be taking off, meddlesome Dotty pulls a dirty trick to ensure that Keegan makes a right meal of it…
“Karen’s boy is actually doing okay for himself, but not everyone in Albert Square wants him to succeed,” warns our Eastenders insider. “What Dotty does is really unfair, and could even result in Keegan being closed down.”
After witnessing first-hand the success that Gray has made of his career, Keegan aspires to be his own man in the hope of emulating the solicitor’s prosperity. The determined lad also has a wedding to pay for after getting engaged to Tiffany, so failure is not an option!
But when Ian learns that Iqra and Habiba have secretly been letting Keegan use the kitchen at Walford East to prepare his sandwiches, he’s not happy. Could it be that Ian actually sees Keegan as a real threat to his own business?
Meanwhile, Keegan is none the wiser as he takes to the streets and continues to drum up trade. It all seems to be going well when Kheerat and Jags show an interest – ever keen to make a quick buck – and offer Keegan their help.
However, the next thing he realises, Dotty has bought a sandwich and appears to find a bug contaminating her food! The look on Keegan’s face says it all as she makes a very public display, leaving him flabbergasted as to how the insect could have got there.
“What Dotty does to Keegan is really unfair…”
“If it wasn’t down to Keegan, why would Dotty set out to ruin him?” muses our mole. “There is no love lost between Dotty and Keegan’s fiancée Tiff, of course, and Dotty can be spiteful when she wants to be. However, perhaps there is more to her interference than meets the eye…”
As Tiffany vows to get the bottom of the incident and confronts Dotty, Ian spies an opportunity to drip poison in Keegan’s ear and piles pressure on the disheartened kid to call it quits. But when Ian realises that Keegan won’t give up so easily, he’s forced to go further. Will sly Ian be successful in seeing off his competition?
