LINDA BATTLES THE BOOZE

’Tis the season… but Eastenders’ Linda has been indulging in festive cheer for far too long already. Now that Mick has realised what’s going on, though, can he help his missus to quit the booze?

I get that Eastenders’ Linda has been through a really stressful time recently, and it’s no wonder she’s hit the bottle. But I don’t buy for one second that she would put her son Ollie in danger by drink-driving – that’s just not something Linda would do.

with her problems, as many people do nowadays. And she has an endless supply of booze readily available to her. Let’s hope she doesn’t follow in the footseps of infamous Vic landlady Angie Watts, and drink herself to death!

The last thing Linda needed after being charged with drink-driving was for Max to offer her a large glass of wine! I can’t think of a worse person for her to be paired with for the wife swap. I hope the scriptwriters show her getting some proper help and attending AA meetings, as going cold turkey isn’t going to work in the long run.

It’s no wonder Linda needs to drink, married to a man like Mick! He’s put her through so much – he cheated on her with Whitney, and then his ‘mate’ Stuart made their lives complete hell. Linda would be much better off without him!
