Doctors Jimmy is arrested
AS HE’S HAULED IN FOR QUESTIONING BY HIS OWN POLICE COLLEAGUES, WILL HE BE ABLE TO CLEAR HIS NAME?
There’s a terrible shock in store for Jimmi this week, when a stash of heroin is found in his car boot, and he’s arrested for intent to supply!
The GP, who also works as a forensic medical examiner for the police, is horrified as the Major Crime Squad requests to search his car while he’s heading home after a police shift. But when they unearth the drugs cache, he barely has time to protest his innocence before he’s dragged to the station…
“The shock of the discovery leaves Jimmi speechless,” shares our Letherbridge spy. “He’s just endured a tough shift, and he’s thrown when he’s approached by the officers. He already can’t believe it as they ask him to open up his vehicle, so the last thing that he’s expecting for them to find is a huge packet of drugs!” Jimmi’s still in a state of shock when he’s taken to an interview room and hit with a barrage of questions. Believing the situation is nothing more than a misunderstanding, however, the medic waives his right to a solicitor as he continues to insist that he’s an innocent man. “It all happens so fast – although Jimmi honestly reckons that everything will be sorted quickly,” reports our sneak. “But he soon comes to regret his decision against legal representation when he realises that he’s in a lot more trouble than he thought. He agrees to a solicitor and tries to be more compliant – yet his nightmare is far from over…”
Back at The Mill, Jimmi’s colleagues are stunned by his arrest, with Valerie forced to open the surgery for police to conduct a late-night search. Meanwhile, Jimmi’s kneejerk decision to seek out a witness to his case – in a bid to clear his name – has awful consequences as he’s taken back into custody yet again!
“Speaking to this witness is a breach of Jimmi’s bail conditions,” wails our snitch.
“He’s given a Crown Court hearing, and the judge is one who he’s clashed with in court before. Jimmi’s past is coming back to haunt him…”
The Mill is buzzing with rumours – while Valerie works hard to crack her colleague’s case. Given that Bear has shown no sympathy for Jimmi’s trauma, she begins to wonder why.
Is Bear hiding something – and if so, can Valerie find out what it is before Jimmi is locked up for a long time?
