Phil takes Jack prisoner!
SHARON’S HUSBAND TAKES DRASTIC ACTION AGAINST THE MAN HE THINKS IS HER BABY’S FATHER…
Jack Branning seems doomed to pay the ultimate price for Sharon’s affair with Keanu, as Phil arms himself with a gun this week – and takes Jack prisoner!
Having convinced himself that the copper is the secret dad of his wife’s baby, Phil goes to extreme lengths to prove that he’s not a man to mess with. Is this the end for Jack?
“Phil’s mind is made up, and it’ll take nothing short of a miracle for Jack to convince him otherwise,” despairs our Square spy. “He’s seen Sharon sharing the odd cosy chat with her ex-fiancé, put two and two together, and concluded Jack must be the father. It’s not as if Phil has considered his future son-in-law as the culprit!”
Phil refuses to be swayed in his quest for revenge – not even his son Ben can talk him out of it. And when Ben hears that Lola and their daughter Lexi plan to spend the day with Jack and Amy, Phil’s son has to act fast to prevent them from being caught in the crossfire of his dad’s plan.
Fortunately, Ben manages to scupper the playdate.
However, when he later chances upon Phil at the wheel of his car, clearly struggling with his rage, it looks as if something terrible could be about to happen…
“Ben knows that he has to talk some sense into Phil before it’s too late, so he tells Phil to leave Jack to him – and that he’ll sort it,” explains our mole. “Ben naively thinks he has succeeded in buying himself some time, but he should know better than to underestimate his dad.”
It’ll take a miracle for Jack to convince Phil he has the wrong man”
As Ben enjoys some time with Callum, Lola, Lexi and Jay, Phil silently broods with a gun before pouncing on Jack and bundling him into the Arches. While Jack is understandably horrified – unable to fathom why Phil is targeting him – the pieces of the puzzle finally fall into place when Phil accuses Jack of sleeping with his missus.
Can Jack convince Phil that he has the wrong man? Or will his fate be sealed in what stands to be Walford’s worstever case of mistaken identity?
