The embattled Slaters face a fight to save them from homelessness this Christmas, as the Panesars use dirty tricks to get rid of them! The new landlords are determined to turf out Kat and her clan, and resort to extreme measures to destroy their plans for their family Christmas. All Kat wants is to give poorly Jean and the kids a chance to enjoy a festive celebration with all the trimmings. But thanks to Vinny and Jags, the plan is now in tatters, leaving Kat to seek help from her big-hearted neighbours. “Even Ebeneezer Beale couldn’t see the Slaters hungry and homeless at Christmas,” insists our Walford source. “When Kat and the others tell people what’s going on, everyone rallies around. Trouble is, they end up with three invites for Christmas lunch and it all gets a bit awkward! But it’s heart-warming to see how many Walford residents are willing to find room at their table for them.”
What Kat doesn’t know is that Kheerat has heard what’s going on, and has reported back to the rest of the Panesars. He can’t believe it when Vinny and Jags tell him what they did to try to oust the family, and he demands they sort it.
After the Slaters return from their Christmas shenanigans, they are stunned to find the Panesars waiting for them. Kat’s first instinct is to lash out and put the landlords in their place – until the boys silence her with their shock news.
