Kat prepares to take her business to the next level by inking a new deal this week – but Leo’s interference leaves her furious after a meeting with a new client takes a worrying turn.

Ambitious Kat is determined to build on the success of her and Whitney’s stall, yet they need to win contracts to get moving. So, Kat is delighted when Whit reveals she’s lined up a meeting with Mr Hobbs, who wants a slice of the action. But when the meeting begins, Kat’s in for a shock as things don’t go to plan…

“Trouble has been brewing on the market ever since Kat crossed swords with Leo,” says our Eastenders insider. “The deal on the table means a lot to Kat, but as the meeting progresses, she begins to realise what Mr Hobbs wants in return – and she’s not willing to do that to secure the business. Soon, it transpires Leo has been meddling – and Mr Hobbs is not the answer to their prayers!”

Despite swearing his love for Whitney and hanging around to win her back, it’s clear Leo feels no such warmth towards Kat. His evil streak has come shining through, and the extent of his manipulation makes

Kat absolutely furious. It’s clear their war is far from over, and this particular battle involving Mr Hobbs is only a sign that things are going to get worse.

One silver lining, though, is that the whole experience helps strengthen Kat and Kush’s relationship. They’ve been together a while now and gone through plenty of turbulence, but when Kat needs support, Kush proves

she can count on him. Kat feels so secure that she opens up to Kush about her dark past and what she went through due to the actions of paedophile uncle Harry. Kush listens without judgement and makes it clear that nothing she’s said has changed the depths of his feelings about her. If anything, the fact she’s trusted him with this painful story makes Kush feel even closer to Kat – and it looks as if this could be love…
