Kush pushes Leo off a balcony!

- Tom Spilsbury

The rising tension between Leo and Kat gets completely out of hand this week, as Kat’s boyfriend Kush ends up pushing Leo over a balcony!

As the week begins, shifty Leo is causing stress for the market stallholders, particularly Kat, who has agreed to swap stalls with Whitney in an attempt to shield her from her creepy ex. Meanwhile, poor Whit is still feeling threatened by Leo’s ongoing presence on the Square, after she discovered his true identity as paedophile Tony King’s son.

However, Leo bites off a bit more than he can chew this week, when he hurls a torrent of abuse towards Kat, who promptly flies off the handle and rips Leo’s stall to shreds!

“Leo’s already shown he’s willing to play extremely dirty, by giving a business associate of Kat’s a dodgy impression of her,” our Walford source reminds us. “It doesn’t seem as if he has much left in his arsenal, though, if he’s now resorted to hurling insults at her from across the market! It’s no wonder that Kat reacts the way she does – no one treats her that way and gets away with it.”

Kush and Martin promptly drag Kat over to the Vic to try to calm her down, but trouble isn’t far behind, as Leo follows them into the boozer for round two! However, this time, before it can all kick off again, the police turn up, and haul Leo away for questioning.

“It turns out that Jack has let some of his colleagues know that Leo has been stalking Whitney,” explains our mole. “So, the officers take him away for a little

‘chat’, to attempt to dissuade him from getting into any more trouble. Judging by what happens next, though, it seems their words have no effect…”

Kat suggests they all pay a visit to The Prince Albert that evening, and with Leo temporarily out of the way, Whit and the others eagerly agree. Sadly, their night out takes a sour turn as Leo comes into the club, and once again approaches Whit.

“This guy doesn’t know when to give up,” reckons our spy. “Things get lairy pretty quickly, and after Leo grabs Whit, Kush springs into action to protect her. Unfortunately, during the ensuing scuffle, Kush manages to push Leo right over the edge of the balcony! Kush didn’t mean to be so forceful, but that won’t make any difference if Leo has lifechanging injuries… or worse!”

Paramedics soon arrive to attend to crumpled Leo, who is taken away in an ambulance. Nice guy Kush naturally feels horrified at what he’s done, and is filled with remorse – although Kat tells him that he has no choice but to keep quiet about what happened.

Will Kush be able to keep his guilty secret? Or will he feel compelled to come clean?
