Shock waves reverberate around the Dales this week, when Billy and Priya find Graham’s dead body!
The pair are searching for missing dog Tip, and neither is ready for what they discover. But after uncovering the body, and the police are called, both are horrified to hear Graham was most likely murdered…
“Priya and Billy spot an abandoned vehicle from the outdoor pursuits centre, and investigate,” shares our Dales insider. “It’s clear the van has been in an accident, and Billy suggests they look for clues as to what the driver has hit. After Priya eyes something under the bridge, she takes a closer look – and is sickened to realise it’s a dead body! And she’s further appalled to see it’s Graham.”
All the locals know Graham had more than his fair share of enemies, so the police will have plenty of suspects. But as Priya reluctantly tells officers about a row she saw between Graham and Marlon, it looks as though the cops have their first person to quiz.
Knowing word of Graham’s murder will soon spread, Priya worries how his girlfriend Rhona will react (see over the
page). But she should be concerned about matters closer to home, when it seems her brother Jai could have something to hide…
The businessman has been taking cocaine again, and was livid with Graham for revealing his lapse to girlfriend Laurel. So imagine how alarmed Jai is when he later hears that he attacked Jimmy on the night that Graham was murdered!
“Jai thinks Jimmy hurt his son Archie,” our spy reminds us. “It’s alarming Jai can’t recall lashing out at Jimmy. He was under the influence of drugs at the time, and if he’s capable of attacking Jimmy, it makes him wonder what else he was capable of.”
However, surely Graham’s estranged wife Kim has to be top of the suspect list, along with his ex-lover, Andrea, and her scorned husband, Jamie. But as the grim reality sets in that there’s a killer within the village, will the police solve the crime? Or will the culprit get away with coldblooded murder?
