Marlon is reunited with April

Jailed Marlon is finally given some hope this week, as his daughter April leads the charge in the campaign to free him! The pair come face to face for the first time since innocent Marlon was banged up for the murder of Graham Foster, so it’s an emotional moment to say the least…

Marlon was beside himself with worry. He couldn’t go another visit without seeing her.”
April is determined to put on a brave face for her dad, and her beaming smile is all the encouragement that Marlon needs to scoop her up in his arms and give his little girl a big hug. April is excited to tell him about the ‘Free Marlon’ campaign that she and Mandy have been working on, and reassures Marlon that she will get him out of prison.
However, after encouraging Marlon to start thinking more positively, poor April’s resolve cracks and she bursts into tears after leaving the prison…
“April is determined to be strong for her dad, but it’s a lot for a 10-year-old to cope with,” reasons our source. “It’s bound to be frightening, seeing Marlon in prison and so low.”
Marlon struggles to be upbeat when the evidence against him is so damning – if he is unable to prove he wasn’t the person who struck the fatal blow that killed Graham that night, he could be torn away from April and son Leo for a long time.
