PATRICK WANTS TO CONFRONT ISAAC – WHILE JACK AND MAX FACE OFF…

- Allison Jones

While his partner Sheree is keen to let her hair down at the glamorous boat bash, peeved Patrick struggles to get into the party spirit. Unimpressed by the way in which Isaac is treating him, Patrick wants him to know the truth – that he is the bloke’s father.

But despite Sheree making it very clear that she’s against the idea, Patrick is determined…

“Patrick’s had enough of Isaac’s cockiness,” tuts our Eastenders sneak. “From their first meeting, Isaac’s attitude has been chippy, to say the least! But as far as Isaac’s concerned, Patrick’s just another of his mother’s blokes. They rarely stick around long once they’ve met him, so he doesn’t see why he should bother to make any effort with this latest one.”

Clearly hoping that if Isaac’s in the picture about his paternity, it’ll change everything, Patrick urges Sheree to come clean. But after fibbing to her son all these years, failing to mention that the man who raised Isaac wasn’t in fact his biological father, Sheree’s still keen to keep the secret under wraps.

“It took Patrick no time to work out Isaac was the result of a fling he and Sheree had back in the 80s,” says our spy. “While Sheree pleads with him not to tell Isaac, Patrick’s having none of it – and he heads off to reveal all…”

Across the party crowd, meanwhile, there’s a further bombshell on the way, as Denise suggests that Jack come clean to his brother Max. Unbeknown to Max, Jack has been helping his daughter Lauren after her split from boyfriend Peter, who’s about to return to Walford (see previous page). “Max takes this news as you’d expect – very badly!” snaps our sneak. “His relationship with Lauren has always been troubled, although it was the death of Abi, who was killed while she and Lauren were trying to stop Max jumping off the Vic roof, that was the final straw. So it’s understandable that she’d reach out to Uncle Jack instead of her dad – but Max is not impressed…”

When Max flies off the handle, the situation soon turns nasty – and as the brothers scuffle, Jack punches Max.

But will their brawl be brought to an end once catastrophe kicks off elsewhere?
