Whitney is accused of murder!
LEO’S DEAD – AND SHE’S THE PRIME SUSPECT…
Terrified Whitney remains in police custody this week – as the authorities start to investigate the shocking killing of Leo.
Although her stalker is gone, Whit’s nightmare is far from over, as detectives try to build a case against her after she stabbed him in self-defence. For months, Leo stalked and manipulated Whitney, who repeatedly told the police of his threatening behaviour. But now he’s dead, will they believe Whit’s version of events?
“What happened that night was a case of self-defence and Whitney is desperate for the detectives to believe her,” says our Walford spy. “Leo spent months making her fear for her life – he seemed capable of anything. But now he’s dead, it’s almost as if his vicious campaign of intimidation has been forgotten by the police.”
Understandably, Whitney is desperate for support, and Tiffany begs Gray to take on her sister’s case. Despite having reservations, Gray reluctantly agrees to help, and the pressure mounts as he begins to piece together the story and to build Whitney’s defence. Unfortunately, his involvement with the case piles on the stress, and he snaps at his young children, Mackenzie and Mia. Terrified that her husband is taking out his anger on their kids, Chantelle begins to wonder if it’s such a good idea after all…
“Gray is only doing this under duress, which is never a good situation for him to be in,” explains our snitch. “He’s also unsure what he thinks really happened between Whitney and Leo. He and Chantelle have been very supportive of Whit over the past few weeks, but some of

what she is saying just doesn’t seem to add up, and Gray doesn’t know why she’s lying.”
Although the police have acknowledged Whitney’s account of being stalked – and her uncle Jack saw the journal which detailed the number of times Leo contacted and harassed her – because Leo then stole the book, Whitney doesn’t have the physical evidence to back up her claims. She can only hope that Gray can convince detectives that she’s telling the truth.
Does Whitney face life in jail?
