Jai & Laurel are reunited

Laurel called it quits with
Jai following his lies about falling off the wagon and taking cocaine again, despite her best efforts to support him through his relapse. But after Jai checked himself into a rehab facility and declared his love for Laurel – determined to win her back – she could see that he really meant it.
“Jai has found the perfect woman in Laurel, and it’s lucky that she’s agreed to give him another chance,” remarks our Dales insider. “As a recovering alcoholic, Laurel understands better than anyone how challenging addiction can be, and all she asks is that Jai is honest with her. There has to be trust between them.”
After Laurel discovered that her father-in-law Sandy had passed away in Australia, Jai returned to the village to wave her off as she and her family left to attend the funeral. As they said goodbye, Jai made it clear that he hoped to win Laurel back once she returned – and the smile on her face indicated that she wasn’t ready to give up on him, either.
However, Jai still has no idea whatsoever that it was Laurel’s son Arthur hurting his boy Archie all those weeks ago – and that Laurel is now in possession of the facts!
The heartbroken mum explained to Arthur that they would need to confess the truth after they returned from Australia – however, it doesn’t look as if Laurel is any closer to revealing all to Jai as she and Jai passionately reunite.
“Laurel knows that it’s her responsibility as a parent to let Jai know what really went on,” explains our informant. “She and Arthur came very close to telling Jimmy, who was the person originally accused of hurting Arthur, but they were interrupted when Jai turned up unexpectedly. Laurel has made it clear to Arthur that they must do the right thing – however, after she and Jai kiss and make up, how will she break it to him?”
