THERE’S ANOTHER TEAR-JERKING GOODBYE IN THE BAY…
The residents of the Bay are left reeling as they learn of Mason’s murder this week – yet there’s more tragedy to come when Robbo dies!
After the tense hostage situation at the hospital is finally brought to an end by heroic Colby and Dean, Robbo is fighting his own battle out in the bush. And it’s one that he’s not set to survive…
“Robbo’s in a car with police officer Scott, headed towards the hospital, when Scott pulls a gun on him!” reveals Jake Ryan, who plays tortured Robbo. “It turns out that Scott was responsible for Lance’s death, and now has orders to kill Robbo! He plans to take him to a remote location and push him over a cliff.”
It transpires that Robbo’s nemesis Victor has got to Scott, and is holding his family hostage, threatening to off them unless the police officer does what he says. So can Robbo persuade Scott that the pair of them need to join forces to bring down Victor once and for all?
“Robbo does manage to convince Scott that they can get through this together, and that they need to stop these guys,” Jake tells us. “They get in the car and Scott’s driving, and then there’s a big crash.
“The next thing you know, Robbo’s being wheeled into the hospital,” adds Jake. “And the doctors are baffled as to how he’s still alive – there’s no medical explanation as to how he survived this crash.”
As Robbo is wheeled into theatre, his wife Jasmine is absolutely distraught – having only just survived the hospital siege herself. Meanwhile, Tori arrives at the hospital with baby Grace, and Robbo’s loved ones gather at his bedside to pray that he’ll pull through this.
Home and Away fans will have to tune in to find out what happens next – but one way or another, Robbo will be leaving the Bay in a body bag before the week is out! “Robbo makes Colby promise to look after Jasmine once he’s gone,” says Jake. “His whole life has been quite tragic when you think about it – he finally gets to catch the people who killed his family, but at the cost of his life…”
