We do feel awful for poor Daniel in Corrie, but proposing to Bethany with Sinead’s ring is a new low – and it resulted in her leaving the Street! This is what you thought about Bethany’s exit…

How utterly heartbreaking for poor Daniel! First he loses his beloved wife, and now Bethany’s gone off to London. I really hope she returns in the future – I think the two of them would make a good couple, once he’s moved on from Sinead, of course.

Well, Coronation Street – that was the right decision to make. I’m glad Bethany’s finally out of Daniel’s life. He needs time on his own to get back on the mend and realise that he doesn’t need a woman to make him happy. After all, shouldn’t his main focus be on Bertie, who’s just lost his mum rather than another girlfriend?

Bye, bye, Bethany! Can’t say I’ll miss her particularly – she always was really naive. What kind of woman goes after a man who’s just lost his wife? Bethany was pretty stupid to think Daniel had got over Sinead that quickly. Maybe Daniel will find someone more suitable later on.
