Karen: Billy, Mitch, or neither?
BOTH MITCH AND BILLY MAKE BIG DECLARATIONS…
Karen has a love dilemma thrust upon her this week, after her boyfriend Billy and ex Mitch lay their cards on the table as she prepares to leave Walford!
While Karen and Billy have been getting on famously in recent weeks, she and Mitch have history – and two kids to show for it. So as the men make their feelings known, who will Karen choose?
“Karen’s fond of Billy, but it’s not as if they are love’s young dream,” concedes our Square spy. “As for Mitch, he’s broken Karen’s heart more times than she cares to remember. So why should she take his offer seriously this time round?”
Many would argue that Karen can do better than both fellas put together. And she has more pressing issues to deal with, following Ian’s offer to bankroll a move away from the Square – in return for taking care of baby Kayden full-time! Yet it’s the idea of losing Kaz that spurs Billy and Mitch into action…
As Karen weighs up her options in the café, Billy is upset – although in previous weeks he’d have ditched her the second it looked as if his former wife Honey might consider a reconciliation. Meanwhile, Mitch watches the pair from across the room, clearly pining for the mum of his kids as Karen gives Billy a reassuring squeeze.
However, Mitch clearly isn’t prepared to let the matter lie…
“Back at Karen’s flat, Mitch stuns her with a proposal – and suggests he and Bailey move away with her!” reveals our source. “Karen is touched that he’d up sticks just to stay close to her – until Mitch goes one step further and drops a bombshell that she is not expecting. By the looks of it, Karen’s outraged reaction isn’t what Mitch is hoping for!”
