Yasmeen loses pal Cathy?
GEOFF MANIPULATES CATHY OUT OF HER LIFE…
Geoff realises this week that he needs to up his game if he’s to keep control of Yasmeen – and vows to drive a wedge between his wife and her one remaining pal!
Although Yasmeen recently met with police and discovered the truth about her husband’s criminal past, she still hasn’t mustered the courage to leave him. But unbeknown to Yasmeen, Geoff has found the domestic abuse leaflet the officers gave to her – and realises he needs to take a new approach to maintain his grip.
“Geoff was furious when he found the pamphlet, as it proves that Yasmeen has come dangerously close to leaving him,” remarks our cobbles insider. “The leaflet lists the signs of controlling behaviour – and Geoff realises that it describes him to a tee! The last thing he wants is for Yasmeen to figure out what he’s up to and walk out on him for good. So he plots to create even more trouble between Yas and her loved ones.”
With that in mind, as Cathy pops round for a natter later in the day, Geoff ramps up his machinations! Performing his dark magic, Geoff manipulates Yasmeen into offending her pal – to the point where outraged Cathy storms out!
Then, to twist the knife in even further, Geoff not-sosubtly tells his wife that she’s well and truly lost Cathy as a friend now – leaving poor Yasmeen distraught…
“Clever Geoff knows that if Yasmeen pushes her one loyal friend away, she’ll have nobody to rely on but him,” says our spy. “But what he doesn’t realise is that Yasmeen already has her bags packed, and all it could take is one more false move from him, and she’s out the door for good!”
Can Geoff turn the situation back to his advantage once again? Or will Yasmeen leave him once and for all?
