Tim gets in a best man mess
WILL IT BE KEVIN OR GEOFF ORGANISING HIS STAG NIGHT?
Hapless Tim finds himself in another fine mess this week, after he agrees to Kevin being his best man – having already offered the role to his dad, Geoff!
Tim and Sally’s upcoming wedding is only happening in the first place because Tim didn’t realise he was still married to someone else when they originally exchanged vows. So it’s no surprise that he’s got himself into a right old pickle yet again…
“Will Tim ever learn?” ponders our cobbles insider. “The sooner he’s able to own up to his mistakes, the less of a mess his life will be! All he needs to do is tell Kevin that he already has a best man, yet he just can’t bring himself to tell the truth.”
Double-booking his best man isn’t even the first faux pas Tim makes this week. When his beloved wife-to-be falls in love with a pricey wedding dress, Tim automatically promises Sally he will buy it for her. There’s just one catch – he has no idea where he’s going to get the cash from to pay for it…
Later in the week, while
Tim and Sal are having a drink with Kevin and Abi in the Rovers, they ask the pair to be witnesses at the ceremony. Kev and Abi happily agree, and Kev takes things one step further by suggesting he should be Tim’s best man, too.
“This is the point where Tim should come clean and admit that he’s asked Geoff to fill the role,” points out our mole. “Instead, he stupidly welcomes Kev to the wedding party!
What an absolute idiot!”
So, will Tim find the courage to tell one of his best men that they’re not actually needed for his big day? Or will there be red faces all round when Kevin and Geoff realise Tim has asked them both?
