CHARITY’S NOT HAPPY AFTER VANESSA BURIES THE HATCHET…
There’s a massive row during Vanessa’s first chemotherapy treatment this week – when Charity goes balistic after finding Kerry at her other half’s side.
Kerry has been persona non-grata with their family ever since it was revealed that she accidentally caused the fire that killed Vanessa’s dad Frank. But when Kerry walks past Vanessa in the hospital, she decides to sit and keep her company while she has her chemo – a move that infuriates Charity.
“It’s as if Charity directs all the pent-up anger she’s feeling about Vanessa’s cancer at Kerry – she goes ballistic!” says our Dales insider. “Vanessa can’t believe it and is furious. Kerry has done a lot wrong, but she is genuinely trying to be kind and supportive during a very dark time for Vanessa. There’s no need for Charity to lose her temper so badly.”
The situation is already strained after Charity is forced to let Vanessa go to the hospital alone because Noah is poorly. Vanessa insists that Charity tends to her ill son instead of going to sit with her during chemo, leaving the heartbroken woman feeling upset and guilty…

gets home, Vanessa won’t calm down – and instead turns to pal Rhona for a distraction.
The pair decide to have a fun afternoon out to celebrate Rhona’s birthday, and head to a bar. It’s a crazy move for Vanessa, especially as her health is so delicate at the moment, but she’s determined to escape. However, her actions leave Charity reeling.
“This is a time when the two of them need to be stronger than ever and totally there for each other,” explains our spy. “Instead, Charity is kicking off and Vanessa is out getting leathered. It’s not a healthy situation at all, and both of them need to calm down and understand that this reaction is merely a consequence of the stress they are under. If they pull together and face this cancer fight, they give themselves the best chance of surviving as a couple.”
After a tumultuous week, it looks as though the couple are in deep trouble, particularly when Vanessa asks Charity a massive question about the future, and she falters before answering. This rift looks serious, and it could mean big trouble as Vanessa continues to battle her way back to good health. Can the pair find a way to reconnect and share their feelings?
