Shaun is alive!

Shaun is shockingly discovered to be alive this week, after being presumed dead for months when he was caught up in an avalanche! Claudia is waiting for her private jet, but is lost for words when she ends up face to face with her supposedly dead son! Shaun appears alive and well, despite being stranded on the side of a mountain for months. And as he relates his ordeal to his mum, Shaun reveals that he’s only just been rescued… “Shaun went missing after being caught up in an avalanche when he was climbing with pals in Switzerland,” our Ramsay Street spy reminds us. “And Shaun only survived as he took refuge in a mountainside cabin. Fortunately, there were enough canned goods inside the cabin to sustain Shaun and aid his recovery before he left in search of help. Shaun was only found a few days before, after he alerted the rescue team!” Shaun is soon distracted when he sets his eyes on his baby daughter for the first time. Claudia is thrilled to see her son and granddaughter reunited – but the sudden family reunion grows awkward when Claudia explains that she has gained custody of Aster and is fleeing the country! After questioning his mum, Shaun learns of Claudia’s deceit and how she manipulated the Kennedys into handing over Aster – rather than supporting them after the events on the island. Shaun is determined to return to Erinsborough with his daughter. But will Claudia hand over her grandchild? Or will Shaun give in and leave the country for Geneva?
