Sylver’s daughter Cher arrives!

Sylver and Mercedes renew their wedding vows this week – but the ceremony is gatecrashed when Sylver’s secret daughter Cher arrives!
We first see Cher snooping around the Dog while event preparations are under way, and she soon uses smitten Romeo to charm her way inside. As the ceremony ends and the party begins, Cher decides to drop her bombshell on the newly reunited couple – Sylver is her dad!
“Cher bursts in demanding to see Sylver,” explains David Tag, who plays the surprised father. “Luckily, Sylver and Mercedes get through the vows first. She tries to ruin the party, and Sylver’s so shocked by Cher being there because, obviously, he didn’t even know that she existed.”
Sylver and Mercedes have been through a lot, but recently decided to give their marriage another try. Will this latest shock derail them once more?
“Sylver and Mercedes have had such a roller-coaster relationship,” laughs David. “Sylver almost wants to start a fresh, and the ceremony is the way to do that in his eyes. Their renewal ceremony is quite small, as Sylver wants to keep it more personal.”
But Cher’s arrival might put a huge spanner in the works, as Sylver has previously told Mercedes that she’s the only woman he’s ever been with. A story that Cher’s existence rather disproves…
“I know that Mercedes has done a lot worse, but I think Sylver’s disappointed that their new life has started with such a massive lie,” says David. “He just wants to bury this revelation.”
So, now Sylver is a dad to a teenage daughter, will he step up to the plate?
“Sylver is very paternal,” shares David. “He loves to take on responsibility, such as work or family, especially when it’s someone who’s very close to him. So I think them as father and daughter is going to be a really beautiful relationship, and I reckon that they’ll embrace it.”
