Troubled Cain resists Moira…
HE REVEALS TO MOIRA WHY HE’S HOLDING BACK ON THEIR PASSIONATE REUNION…
Moira’s attempts to spice up Cain’s birthday with a sexy seduction fall flat this week, as the gruff Dingle rejects her advances.
Although they’ve decided to try to fix things, Cain hasn’t let his guard down, and Moira is finding it almost impossible to reach him. On his birthday, she invites him for a private lunch date at Butlers Farm, heavily hinting that it’ll be just the two of them and therefore a chance to be together properly. Yet things don’t go to plan at all, and the next day Cain is rude and abrupt with Moira, leaving her deeply confused.
“All Moira has been waiting for is the chance to show Cain just how much she loves him and to put that spark back into their marriage,” explains our Dales snitch. “Now he’s agreed to try again, she wants to get things back to where they were, but every attempt is rebuffed. Cain’s keeping her at arm’s length, and Moira doesn’t know what to do for the best.”
It looks as though there’s light at the end of the tunnel when Moira manages to seduce Cain – however, the passionate encounter ends on a sour note. His cruel antics leave Moira stung and feeling rejected again, unsure of what to try next.
Friend Rhona offers some advice by counselling Moira to go all out and make a huge effort to show Cain just how much she loves him. Moira takes Rhona’s wisdom to heart and when Cain arrives home that evening, he walks into a lovely surprise from his smitten wife. Instead of being touched by the gesture, Cain’s dark mood brings the whole situation crashing down, and Moira is left in despair. She wonders if Cain is keeping something from her, or if his feelings for ex-flame Charity have reawakened since her split from Vanessa. But when she finally confronts him, Cain stuns her with his revelation.
“Let’s just say that Moira’s hope of them picking up where they left off might have been overly optimistic!” reveals our mole. “What Cain has to say is going to shake her, and there’s a real question mark over whether this reunion can work at all.

After everything they’ve been through to get to this stage, Moira wonders if there’s hope, or if they are just wasting their time. Her affair with Nate would have been bad enough if he was just some random, let alone Cain’s secret son, and their betrayal has cut him deeply. However, Cain has admitted that he still loves his wife, so Moira has something to cling to. Can the broken couple put things back together, or should they admit defeat and divorce?
