Cher meets murderer Silas after her killer secret is exposed!
CHER’S IN GRAVE DANGER WHEN SHE MEETS THE MURDERER…
Cher comes face to face with serial killer Silas this week, after her own killer secret is exposed by Mercedes… The McQueen family is continuing to be blackmailed by Silas and his unknown accomplice. But just as the next sin is set to be revealed, Mercedes decides the family will not pay off the blackmailer this time, and tells everyone at the Dog Cher’s secret – that she killed her little sister!
“Mercedes is a ticking time bomb,” explains Bethannie Hare, who plays Cher. “And she has the amazing idea of telling the village about Cher’s secret to beat the blackmailer at his own game. But Cher is in utter shock – her dad Sylver made her feel as though he had everything under control, so when the secret comes out, Cher totally loses it.”
Cher has been harbouring the painful truth for the whole of her life, up until the blackmail started, when she admitted what she’d done to her dad. Cher explained to Sylver that when she was young, she pushed her sister Liza into a swimming pool – and sadly, she drowned.
“Ever since the blackmail began, Cher has been scared,” Bethannie tells us. “Every day it’s just one step closer to her sin being revealed. Cher knows she’s not safe, and it’s always in the back of her mind – that’s why she hasn’t got close to many people in the village. She’s scared of losing them if they find out what she’s done.”
So, when Mercedes declares Cher’s secret for all to hear, the teenager is absolutely distraught – and ends up drinking away her sorrows…
“Cher is out of it, she’s been drinking all day and all night,” says Bethannie. “At that point, I don’t think she knows who
anyone is. She’s at her most vulnerable, and that’s when she comes face to face with Silas. But Cher’s never come into contact with Silas before, so she doesn’t know who he is, or what he’s done – and she definitely doesn’t know the amount of danger she’s in!”
After Cher’s drunken rampage, Mercy panics when she receives a picture message of Cher from the blackmailer. Mercedes goes on the hunt for the mysterious tormentor, and her blood runs cold when she gets a call from Silas – which leads to a devastating accident!
What could have happened? And can Cher escape from Silas’ clutches unscathed?
