Sarah is reunited with Danny
DANNY’S RETURN PROVES A BAD INFLUENCE ON HER…
Sarah comes face-toface with her drugdealing ex-boyfriend Danny this week – and it’s not long before the pair are up to mischief again!
Teenager Sarah was the one who reported Danny to the police for dealing in the first place, so now that he’s been released from custody, she’s worried about his return. However, it soon becomes clear that he’s up to his old tricks…
“Sarah’s scared – she initially thinks that Danny’s back for revenge,” reveals Katie Hill, who plays her. “But he says sorry, and she wants to believe he’s remorseful. Due to the situation at home, Sarah throws caution to the wind and suggests they catch up. She thinks they can have some fun.”
Nevertheless, it seems that Sarah’s idea of fun is different to Danny’s! The two head to the Woolpack – and before long, Sarah realises that Danny is still dealing drugs.
“Danny’s pal Mason comes over, and mentions something about selling drugs to a stag party, making Sarah realise that Danny’s still involved in dealing,” explains Katie. “But then Danny guilt-trips her by saying that because of the conviction she prompted, he now can’t get a job to pay off his debts.”
However, rather than be horrified by what she’s hearing, Sarah turns around and asks Danny for some pills!
“Danny’s pleased, as he has Sarah back where he wants her,” confirms Katie. “They’re friends again, and she thinks, ‘What do I have to lose? Let’s just have some fun!’”
However, Chas finds one of the empty pill packets, and realises that drugs are being peddled! She swiftly calls the police – leading Sarah to panic and dispose of her own pills… “Sarah clocks that Chas is on to them,” says Katie. “She spots some coats, and puts the drugs in one of the pockets.” However, the coat belongs to Ethan – the new vicar’s son!
“She soon hears that a guy has been arrested after drugs were found in his possession,” adds Katie. “Sarah knows she’s done something wrong, but I don’t think she’s fully aware of the consequences…”
So as the police cart innocent Ethan off to the station, will Sarah fess up? Or keep her mouth shut and hope that the truth never comes out?
