Nicola meets Juliette in secret
WILL SHE REGRET GOING BEHIND HIS BACK TO MEET JULIETTE?
Nicola meets with Juliette without Jimmy’s knowledge this week, to try to resolve their conflict over Carl. But has Nicola done more harm than good?
Prior to meeting Nicola, Juliette sneaks around the village to see Carl – and when her son is alone, she convinces him to go off with her. Nicola is horrified once she realises Carl is missing, but he soon reappears with Juliette – who tells Nicola and Jimmy she wants access to her boy…
“It’s a huge blow for Nicola to hear that Juliette is going to fight for Carl,” sighs our Dales insider. “The Kings have gone through a lot as a family, and this threatens to blow it all out of the water. What might start as just an access request could turn into a custody fight.”
The next morning, Jimmy is frantic when he discovers that
Carl has gone missing again! The worried father calls the police, and PC Swirling arrives – just as Angel lets slip that Carl went to meet Juliette, after she gave the youngster her phone number! As Juliette and Carl reappear, PC Swirling is satisfied that it was all a simple misunderstanding. Juliette suggests that she and Nicola discuss the situation, though
Jimmy disagrees, wanting nothing more to do with her. Yet Jimmy’s protests result in Nicola going behind his back…
“Nicola knows she needs to talk to Juliette, otherwise nothing will change,” explains our sneak. “So Nicola secretly calls Juliette and arranges to meet her privately. She’s well aware that if she gets caught, Jimmy will go ballistic. But
Jimmy couldn’t be angrier with Nicola over her betrayal… ”
Nicola is hopeful that she can reach an understanding with Juliette, from one mother to another.”
Juliette calls in to see Nicola, and their meeting gets off to a great start – that is until Jimmy arrives. He returns from work unexpectedly, and he’s in shock to witness Juliette and Nicola having a chat in his house!
“Jimmy couldn’t be angrier with Nicola,” our spy tells us. “He specifically told her to stay well away from Juliette, and was determined that her return wouldn’t break up their family. However, Nicola knowingly broke his trust to meet up with Juliette while he was in the dark.”
As soon as Juliette leaves, Jimmy tells Nicola that he won’t be able to forgive her if Juliette takes Carl away. Has Nicola ruined their chances of keeping Carl? Or does Jimmy need to accept that Nicola might be right to come to an agreement with the boy’s birth mum?
