EVERYONE’S GAME!

WHICH OF THE CIRCLE’S CELEBS WILL PROVE THE MOST POWERFUL INFLUENCE?

- Allison Jones

It’s the show in which anyone can be everyone – so as brave celebs enter The Circle (also in aid of Stand Up To Cancer) in a special four-parter this week, who will prove the canniest influencer?

Moving into The Circle’s

infamous apartment block – each living alone, oblivious to who they’re up against as they compete anonymously via the power of social media – are the likes of Denise Van Outen, RuPaul’s Drag Race UK’s

Baga Chipz, presenter Melvin Odoom, Made In Chelsea’s

Sam Thompson, and YouTuber and Strictly star Saffron Barker.

“I’m so excited!” beams Denise. “I love the idea of trying to suss people out. I might have a little bit of flirty banter, being an Essex girl – but it’ll all be perfectly innocent.”

“I’m like, ‘What are you letting yourself in for?’” wails

Baga. “But it’s an amazing opportunity. I’m going to have a ball, sitting in a flat on me own having a few G and Ts!”

The game’s big twist is that competitors can trick their rivals into believing they’re somebody else (known as ‘catfishing’) in the hope of proving more likeable. And whoever ends up the most popular, wins!

Ex-Hollyoaks and Blue star Duncan James is excited to switch things up against his rivals – who also include rapper Lady Leshurr, TOWIE’s Pete Wicks, Geordie Shore’s Charlotte Crosby, and DJ Rickie Haywood-Williams, with Loose Women presenters Nadia Sawalha and Kaye Adams playing as a team.

“I thought I’d go in as (Blue bandmate) Lee Ryan because I know him so well – I reckon that would have been funny,” grins Duncan. “But I also want to go in and be me – I’m a nice person! Although I’m not great at social media…”

“Nadia and I are catfishing as Gemma Collins,” reveals Kaye. “Whenever she’s on Loose Women, you know there’s going to be lots of surprises, because The GC never, ever responds the way you expect!”
