Simon gets deeper into trouble…

Simon’s journey to the dark side takes a horrifying turn this week. After finding himself selling pills to his friends Asha, Kelly and Summer, Simon comes face to face with evil drugs boss Harvey, who promotes him to the role of his right-hand man! Meanwhile, however, after Kelly takes some of the gear that Simon has supplied her with, she suddenly collapses…
“Simon’s in way over his head,” sighs our cobbles source. “He’s been playing the tough lad, but when Harvey arrives on the scene, the situation becomes far more serious. And when Kelly has a bad reaction, it serves as a crushing reminder to Simon that his actions could end up costing lives – including those of his friends.”
At the start of week, concern grows for Simon. Ken tries to talk to his grandson, yet as soon as they have had a chat, Simon heads back to Leanne’s flat with Jacob and a group of lads, forcing his uneasy mother to retreat to her room.
Meanwhile, Jacob brags to Simon about how he rips off his boss Harvey, by skimming off drugs, and selling them as part of his own little sidehustle. However, Simon learns that Jacob isn’t quite as clever as he thinks, when Harvey steps out of the shadows for the first time – and informs Simon that he knows exactly what Jacob is up to!
Terrified, Simon explains that he’s played no part in Jacob’s scam, and Harvey tells him that he’s just earned himself a promotion, while Jacob winds up in hospital! Simon insists that he wants out of the drugs game, but Harvey reminds him that he still owes two grand, so had better be a good boy if he wants to avoid Jacob’s fate.
Feeling trapped, Simon heads home to Leanne, and

fills her in on the whole sorry mess – and his horrified mum insists on going to the police. However, as the pair head to the station, they find out that Kelly has been loaded into an ambulance – and Simon realises what must have happened.
After the lad fesses up to his appalled mother, Leanne abandons her plan to involve the law and instead insists on approaching Harvey directly. But given how ruthless the drugs lord appears to be, does Leanne risk putting herself and Simon in even more danger?
