Sean falls under Rhydian’s spell

Sean continues to be dazzled by conman Rhydian this week, and his promise of big money. However, Sean’s luck takes a turn for the worse following an accident at Underworld, seeing him fall further into Rhydian’s clutches…
The trouble kicks off when Sean secretly stores his make-up boxes at the factory, causing injury to co-worker and neighbour Kirk…
“Sean is already in Kirk’s bad books over the way he’s treated Gemma when it comes to the cosmetic business,” our cobbles sneak reminds us.
“But then Kirk slips on some liquid in the packing area of Underworld, and ends up with a terrible injury. Sean quickly clocks that the leak has come from one of his dodgy makeup boxes, and realises he’s in big trouble!”
Rather than being concerned for Kirk however, Sean is more worried by the fact that he’s about to be sacked from Underworld! Determined to get in there first, Sean goes to Nick and quits his job, which causes more problems. He asks landlady Eileen if he can now store his stock at the house, but Todd intervenes, claiming that his mum is letting Sean walk all over her – and soon Eileen suggests that it’s time Sean and his boxes found a new home.
“Cosmetics brand Double Glammy has brought Sean nothing but misery, yet he still believes he stands to make a fortune,” says our insider. “Rhydian turns up on the Street, flattering Sean. Even though Sean is finding it difficult to shift the products, he looks at Rhydian’s fancy clothes and flashy cars, and can’t help but want to emulate that.”
However, how will Sean react when Todd reveals Rhydian’s cool car is only leased, and
“Rhydian hands Sean the keys to a swanky car…”
tries to make his pal see that he’s being swindled?
“Todd and Eileen are deeply worried by this point,” our spy tells us. “Yet Rhydian glosses over, explaining he’s renting a car rather than owning one, so he can always upgrade to the very latest model! And when Rhydian later hands over the keys to a swanky new sports car that he’s purloined for Sean, his protege is thrilled…”
But has Sean now got himself in too deep?
