Pregnant Gabby suffers a fall!
WILL RELUCTANT DAD JAMIE HELP HER?
There’s a horrible moment for pregnant Gabby this week – when she has a nasty fall after witnessing Jamie kissing Dawn. Gabby is distraught to realise that Jamie has been stringing her along, while romancing Dawn on the sly. Jamie’s been playing on Gabby’s hopes of the pair having a relationship, while actually trying to persuade her she’s too young to be a mum and coerce her into having a termination. So, when the distressed teenager collapses in front of him, Jamie is praying that the fall will result in a miscarriage…
“Jamie’s waiting for something to happen, some complication that could make his wishes come true and see Gabby lose the baby,” sighs Alexander Lincoln, who plays the despicable dad.
Jamie’s been playing nice and hoping that he can persuade the 19-yearold it’s too soon to jump into motherhood. And at the beginning of the week, Gabby is already beginning to wonder if she’s making a mistake by going ahead with her pregnancy, as she grapples with sickness and exhaustion. Hoping that she’s going to see sense, Jamie kicks off the next part of his plan, and goes to find true love Dawn to confess his feelings for her. He’s delighted when Dawn admits she wants him too. However, as they seal the deal with a passionate kiss, little do they know that Gabby is watching on, horrified. “Jamie’s ecstatic that Dawn reciprocates his feelings – I don’t think he expected things to work out like this,” shares Alexander. “So, it’s an amazing feeling.
“Jamie knows what he’s doing is wrong…”
Jamie’s entirely in the wrong, yet he feels hard done by with the Gabby situation, because it could cut off his future with Dawn. Although, to a degree, he feels he’s looking out for Gabby as well, as she’s so young, and he doesn’t think she truly comprehends the situation.”
As Gabby watches, her horror turns to fury, and she decides to go to Kim and inform her of Jamie’s antics. But as she goes to leave, she trips and falls to the floor.
Jamie spots her and she shouts to him for help – yet instead of rushing to her side, he just watches on…
“Jamie knows what he’s doing is wrong,” admits Alexander .“But he may have gone too far this time.”
Will he get Gabby the help she needs? Or stand back and let her suffer?
