Hello, Ruthie! What can you tell us about Miranda?
She arrives at The Mill as part of an organisation that helps with running surgeries. She’s glamorous, smart, and knows exactly what she wants – and she has no shame about going and getting it! Miranda’s a lot nicer than the last time Valerie saw her. She’s lost a lot of weight, and got herself together. But has she really changed?
Bear and Zara seem pretty impressed by her… Miranda is being very flirty with Zara, as she’s trying to get into her good books, and she’s making a beeline for Bear because she’s decided he could be her new squeeze!
Was there anyone at Doctors you’d worked with previously? Sarah Moyle [Valerie] and I had crossed paths in musical theatre, because she was in a production of Oliver! before I joined. Other than that, everyone was completely new – but very welcoming and lovely.
Had they watched you in the I’m A Celebrity… jungle?
Jan Pearson [Karen] was hilarious when she realised it was me. She was like, “Sit down and tell me everything!” That show was very different for me – but I wouldn’t have missed it for the world.
Miranda, meanwhile, sounds terrifying! How might you cope with working with her?
I’d tell her to get over herself! But I think with anyone who’s manipulative or out for themselves, they’ll always get found out in the end…
