Felix & Warren’s bungled robbery
REFORMED FELIX DOES ONE LAST JOB FOR WARREN – WITH TRAGIC CONSEQUENCES…
Felix and Warren’s shady business deal goes horribly wrong this week, after poor Maxine gets caught in the crossfire!
As Warren puts the final plans in place to steal a van containing a cargo of laptops – which Brad has alerted him to – Felix is having second thoughts about getting involved. Yet after he agrees to do the job as a favour to his old mate Warren, Felix looks to be the one who will pay the price…
“Felix is trying not to get involved in these dodgy deals any more, because he wants to do right by his family,” explains Richard Blackwood, who plays him. “But what this situation highlights for him is that he actually misses it, the danger element, the rush of being involved in the criminal world. For him it’s not about the money, he just wants to be a part of it – and he also wants to help Warren out.
“Warren could be about to lose his kids, so he needs money for a lawyer – he really pulls at Felix’s heartstrings,” adds the actor. “The two of them grew up together in the care home, they’re like brothers. So when Warren is in need, it’s a no-brainer for Felix.”
Despite his reservations, Felix decides to go ahead with the heist. But in true Hollyoaks fashion, it doesn’t go to plan!
“Felix’s role is to dress up as a police officer, so he can intercept the van and bring it back to the hideout,” Richard tells us. “But he ends up having to kidnap the driver, and that’s when it all starts to go a little bit off track! Felix was worried that something could go wrong, but he never thought it would end up like this.”
To make matters worse, Maxine is sniffing around the garage, because she suspects that Warren is up to something underhand. So as the situation spirals further out of control, and the van driver tries to make her escape, Maxine gets seriously hurt…
It’s a relief to everyone when they find out that she’s going to be okay – but that quickly turns to panic after Maxine declares she intends to report the incident to the police!
“Maxine discovers a few secrets because Warren divulges them to her,” reveals Richard. “Then Warren ends up throwing Felix under the bus! At that point, it gets very personal for Felix – he tried to walk away from this situation, yet got brought back in, as he wanted to help a friend. And now that friend has betrayed him, things are about to get far more serious…”
So with Warren and Felix at loggerheads, and Maxine still threatening to tell the police everything, could Felix’s days in the village be numbered?
