Billy decides: Paul or Todd?

Todd upsets everyone by threatening to leave the cobbles this week, but secretly it’s all a ruse to test the strength of Billy’s feelings! Soon, Billy approaches Todd and begs him not to leave – have Todd’s months of scheming finally bagged him his man?
“Todd is over the moon when his threat catches Billy’s attention,” explains our cobbles insider. “Knowing it’s his last chance, Todd takes a leap of faith and confesses to Billy that he’s still in love with him – and Todd says that he’ll stay on the Street if they can be together! With Todd’s cards on the table, it’s all up to Billy whether Todd stays or goes…”
While Billy thinks about what – or who – he wants, the vicar is also mindful of Summer, who is heartbroken to hear that Todd might be leaving Weatherfield again. Deciding to pile on the pressure, Todd manipulates Paul into admitting to Billy that he’s met someone else – hoping to sever the final tie between Billy and former fella Paul – but his devious plan backfires.
“The unexpected confession from Paul stirs something in Billy,” reveals our spy. “So Billy realises it’s only fair to tell Todd that he still has feelings for Paul, and perhaps it’s for the best if he moves away. Todd is left mortified to be rejected.” However, the situation becomes more complicated when Paul reveals to Billy that he lied about having a new boyfriend – and that he’s still in love with him! “Poor Billy’s head is spinning by now!” teases our sneak. “Within a few days, Billy’s had two men declare their love for him, and is being pushed to make a decision that will change his life! Who will Billy choose?
