Nina moves on… with Seb
BUT ASHA’S STUCK IN THE PAST…
Newly single Nina finds a new love interest this week, as she and Seb cross paths, just as exgirlfriend Asha gets back with bad boy Corey.
Nina’s worried when she finds out that Asha is back in the arms of her slimy old flame, despite Asha’s claims that he’s a changed man. However, she’s soon distracted by her own love life when she bumps heads with Seb, and it sparks an attraction... “Nina and Seb’s bond begins with a big row – which is the catalyst for many a great romance!” laughs our Weatherfield insider. “Seb and Nina cross swords after she blocks the road to protest against traffic pollution, and he can’t get to work. Things get so heated that Roy has to intervene and break it up!” After the fallout, Nina and Seb end up talking, and he confides in her that the guys he works with are teasing him for having long hair. Seb is mulling over getting a haircut, but Nina advises him to ignore the haters and just be himself. It’s a nice moment between the two, and a day or so later, Nina invites Seb over to watch a movie together.
Meanwhile, Asha struggles with her pain at losing Nina, so has turned to Corey for comfort. He is making all the right moves to persuade Asha that he’s a reformed character

– including buying her flowers to celebrate their reunion. However, when he turns up at the Alahans’ and tries to get Asha into bed, things kick off.
“Corey is still the same immature and selfish boy he’s always been,” shares our spy. “It doesn’t take long to realise that, and soon Dev shows up and throws him out. He’s horrified that Asha’s let Corey back in, and blames Nina for leaving his daughter so vulnerable!”
Nina and Seb are minding their own business when Dev storms over, and tears a strip off Asha’s ex for breaking her heart. His words cut Nina deeply and give her pause for thought. However, can anyone persuade Asha to drop Corey and go it alone?
