Nick wants Leanne back!
BUT WILL SHE LET HIM SAVE HER?
Devastated Nick puts up the fight of his life to win back Leanne this week, after Simon drops the bombshell that she has another man.
In a desperate bid to distract Nick from the truth about their drug-gang nightmare, Simon lies that Leanne has moved on. He’s doing whatever he can to get Nick to back off, fearing that if he discovers that they’re embroiled with Harvey and his gang, he’ll step in. But rather than accept he’s lost her, Nick makes it his mission to get Leanne back.
“Nick doesn’t react as you may expect,” shares Ben Price, who plays the lovelorn factory boss. “It really hurts [to think Leanne has another man], but he’s not angry, and he’s not going to be kicking off and screaming. He’s gutted, although he understands that Leanne has just lost her child.”
While Nick’s attempting to keep his cool, Simon’s revelation knocks him for six. He arrives back at Natasha’s flat, and confides that things with Leanne look as if they are over. He’s so broken up about it that Natasha mistakenly believes there may still be hope for her, so tells Nick to stick around. Is Nick slightly tempted to give it a try?
“Nick’s not interested at all, but he doesn’t want to annoy Natasha because she’s the mother of his son,” shares Ben. “He really doesn’t want to lose his son, and he wants to do the right thing and be there for Sam. He doesn’t want their relationship to be like Simon and Peter’s.”
Although Simon reckons that he has finally got rid of Nick, he’s sorely mistaken
– and it’s not long until he seeks out Leanne. Gently telling her that he loves her, Nick implores Leanne to admit that she loves him too. Will his love and kindness finally get her to open up?
“Nick accepts that Leanne needs space, and he can’t dictate how long she’ll need to come to terms with her grief,” explains Ben. “But he just needs Leanne to know that he loves her and he’s there for her.”
It can’t be long before Nick learns the horrifying truth
Nick doesn’t know what he’s dealing with right now – but he’ll dig in!”
about
Simon and Leanne’s drug-dealing nightmare. What will he do when he learns Harvey is a violent drug boss, not romantic competition?
“Nick doesn’t know what he’s dealing with right now, but he’s there, and he’ll dig in,” says Ben. “It’s like he’s always there for his mum and for David, that’s Nick’s character, he digs in. Even if Nick knows it’ll get messy, he’ll stick by Leanne and fight. He’ll do whatever needs to be done. Ultimately, I think they are destined to be together!”
