Charles and Andrea enjoy a cosy drink together this week – but their date stirs up a huge amount of jealousy in Charles’ ex, Manpreet!
It wasn’t so long ago that the doctor told Charles that she still had feelings for him, although the vicar warned her that nothing would ever happen between them since she’s now married to Rishi. Manpreet’s since thrown herself head- rst into arranging her and Rishi’s second wedding – so why is she nding it so hard to let Charles go?
“What Manpreet and Charles had was the real deal, and the way she just upped and left him meant their relationship was always unresolved,” our Dales spy tells us. “Seeing Charles again has stirred up all those old feelings for her, and while Manpreet loves Rishi dearly, she’s just not in love with him…”
It’s clear that Charles also still loves Manpreet, but he’s a man with morals, and refuses to break up a marriage. So he’s doing the noble thing by trying to move on – and Andrea seems like the perfect new love interest for him.
She’s footloose and fancy free since splitting from Jamie, and Andrea has made it perfectly clear that she’s interested in Charles! The vicar has had some reservations about dating her, but his son Ethan encourages him to go for it – so Charles takes a chance and jumps straight in!
However, it’s not just Manpreet who’s upset at the sight of Charles and Andrea together. When they arrange another rendezvous later in the week, Meena seems particularly affronted by their budding romance, and sets about stirring things up with Manpreet!
But why exactly is Meena so determined to push her sister back into Charles’ arms?
