Mandy’s horror as Vinny gambles!
SHE TAKES ACTION TO STOP HIM FOLLOWING IN HIS DAD’S FOOTSTEPS…
Mandy’s horrified to catch Vinny gambling this week, as the family faces a financial crisis left behind by Paul’s scheming.
Terrified that Vinny is heading down his dad Paul’s dark path, Mandy is desperate to stop him – and puts herself in serious danger in the process…
“Vinny finds Paul’s notebook containing everything there is to know about gambling,” reveals our Emmerdale spy. “There are all of Paul’s wins and losses over time, as well as future tips, which Vinny finds really intriguing. But it’s also worrying how engrossed Vinny is in the book – part of him obviously still wants to hold on to his dad.”
Vinny tells Liv all about the notebook, but she tries to make him see sense, and leave everything about Paul behind. Liv thinks she’s done a good job, yet when she leaves, Vinny logs on to a gambling website. Although feeling incredibly guilty, he then proceeds to place a secret bet.
“Despite his fears, by the end of the race Vinny is enthralled,” says our insider.
“And as he only places one bet, he doesn’t believe gambling could become a problem for him. But try telling that to Mandy when she walks in and catches him red-handed!”
Mandy is aghast, and vows that gambling won’t be their route to pay off Paul’s debts. Even so, she has already tried to get money for Paul’s funeral from the family, when all Charity did was offer to buy the salon from her – no doubt at a knock-down price! However, Mandy soon forms another plan to take responsibility for their financial situation…

pays Mackenzie a visit. While there, she threatens to blow the whistle on him unless he cuts her in on whatever he’s planning – and Mack realises that he’s in trouble, as Mandy refuses to take no for an answer.
Not long afterwards, Mandy finds herself meeting up with Mack and his dodgy contact Kev. However, with Mandy desperate to sort things out, her actions soon leave them both in grave danger…
