Once the ceremony is over, Peter takes his ex to one side and explains to her that Adam has told the police that he believes Toyah killed Imran! Worse still, the police have questioned Peter himself about what happened with
Toyah and baby Susie, and they now believe that her utter desperation for a baby pushed her to do the unthinkable…
“Adam’s lost his colleague and best mate, and he’s gunning for someone to blame for it all,” explains our insider. “He knows the law better than anyone, so if he can find any shred of evidence that Toyah did this, he’ll take it straight to the police. He’s certainly not someone you would want to have working against you in a situation this serious.”
The news is like a knife to the heart for Toyah, who can’t believe that people would actually suspect her of bumping off her own hubby. So, keen to clear up any misunderstandings, Toyah heads to the police station intent on telling them her side of the story.
“Toyah arrives at the station and tells the cops they need to talk,” reveals our snitch. “She knows that there are all these rumours flying around about her, but she really needs the police to believe what she’s telling them – that she’d never set out to kill her husband and leave Alfie without a dad.”

One person who is completely on Toyah’s side is her sister, Leanne, who is determined to support her every step of the way. She doesn’t believe for one second that Toyah is capable of murder, and she will do whatever it takes to help prove that her sibling is innocent.
However, when Leanne calls the station to get an update on the case, she’s stunned to hear that things are not looking at all good for Toyah. All the evidence points towards her – and the fact that she was in the car with Imran at the time of the accident, coupled with her deep desire to be a mum to baby Alfie, is all the proof the police need.
“There’s a strong possibility that Toyah could be going down for this!” gasps our sneak. “All she has is her word that she didn’t do it and, at this moment in time, that’s just not good enough. She’s going to need a miracle to get herself out of this one!”
But as Toyah continues to protest her innocence, will the police buy her story? Or will she find herself in a prison cell before the week is out, charged with her husband’s murder?
