County Cllr Paulina Stockell agreed to chase up the revised plans for speed reduction measures in the centre of the village/ Lower Road and the white lines at the end of Forge Lane, where it joins Dean Street, which need moving further out. The next council meeting will be held on Tuesday, December 2 at 7.15pm in the old school hall.

The November market was windy but fortunatel­y escaped most of the rain and raised £110 for charity (yet to be decided). The £170 raised by the September and October markets was donated to Homeless Care in Maidstone (previously Maidstone Christian Care/Maidstone Day Centre/Food for Thought).
