Sandbag offer: The parish council is reminding residents that it has a stock of sandbags available for use during the wet weather and the possibility of flooding. Youth choir: The new village children’s choir run for youngsters aged six to 11 by Wendy Heaton, that rehearse at 4.30pm in the village hall on Thursdays, is looking for more children to join their ranks. Jane Stone won the quiz. The next book club will be held on Monday, December 1 at 2pm at the George and Dragon. The next meeting on Wednesday, December 10, is reserved for Christmas celebrations, with mulled wine and mince pies, entertainment, and the usual quiz, raffle and good company.
