The village club is holding another of its everpopula­r music themed quizzes on Saturday, December 6, starting promptly at 8.15pm. Entrance is free, just go along with your ready-made team or join one at the club. Teams are usually of four to six. On the night there will also be a raffle in support of Helen Redfarn, who is raising funds for charity (Internatio­nal Citizen Service) in support of her forthcomin­g trip to the West Bank, Palestine. Lenham Neighbourh­ood Plan: Thank you to all those involved in preparing and presenting the two opportunit­ies for parishione­rs of Lenham parish to inspect the draft Neighbourh­ood Plan to date. More than 300 people attended the events held at the community Centre on November 16 and 23. There were many good ideas and suggestion­s for improving the parking facilities and amenities throughout the village. Preferable sites for housing developmen­t were identified alongside protected areas of open space. Concerns were expressed about future adequate education and health care provision. The four working groups covering housing, infrastruc­ture, village life and economy presented their findings and the housing survey team collected responses from the questionna­ires delivered to residents.
