Savill, who is training in Sweden, lost to Helshan Weerasingh­e in straight games. Weerasingh­e, from Tonbridge, went on to finish runner-up, beaten by top seed Tom Jarvis. He also reached the semi-finals of the doubles, partnering Cranbrook’s Dan Byng.
