Woman denies assault charge

A woman charged with causing criminal damage and assault at the Village Hotel, Maidstone, is due to stand trial.

Holly Brennan, 26, from Warrington in Cheshire, allegedly broke a card reader and damaged a staff member’s tie as she lashed out after being asked to leave the place in July last year. She denied all three charges at Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Friday, and a trial date was fixed for September 21.
