Inquest into death at care home
An inquest will be held into how a disabled man died at a care home in Harrietsham.
Olaoluwa Abraham, who had autism, behavioural problems and suffered from psychotic episodes, was found immersed in a bath on October 25 last year.
The 26- year- old, originally from Nigeria, had been living at specialist residential home Parkwood House in West Street, which caters for people with learning difficulties.
A pre-inquest review, at Archbishop’s Palace on Friday, heard risk assessments carried out by the home and supervision arrangements for Mr Abraham and other patients will be scrutinised at the hearing.
The proceedings, which will not involve a jury, will take place over two days from October 5.
Police investigated the death, but no action was taken.
