Woman found dead in woods
A woman who was found dead in woodland has been named as Svetlana Averina.
The 32-year-old, of Balfour Road in Dover, was found at about 7pm on Tuesday last week in land off Brabner Close, Folkestone.
Up to 15 police and ambulance vehicles were spotted at the scene, and officers closed off a path leading to the woods near a children’s play area.
The death is not being treated as suspicious.
An inquest opening was held at Archbishop’s Palace in Maidstone this week, less than a week later.
The cause of death is “still pending analysis”.
