Lorry driver escapes from crushed cab
A lorry driver had a miraculous escape after a motorway crash left his cab crushed.
The trucker suffered only cuts and bruises when his HGV smashed into the back of another lorry on the M2 on Tuesday afternoon.
A trail of mangled wreckage was left behind, but astonishingly, no one was seriously hurt.
Kent Police’s roads unit tweeted the picture, adding: “Thank you for everyone’s patience, amazingly driver only had a couple of small cuts.”
The London-bound carriageway was closed between junction 4 for Gillingham and 3 for Chatham until 2.40am, when one lane reopened.
The road was completely reopened at around 5pm.
