Everyone is welcome to take part in the fun. There will be lots of activities for all including a bouncy castle, face painter, live samba band, carnival stalls and sports demonstrators. There will be a fancy dress competition for children under 12 years old. The best costume will win a voucher to spend in Smiggle. Judges are looking for the best outfit with a Rio carnival theme. The event features Kent based organisations offering products, services and activities for people with disabilities. Strictly dance Night: Deaf charity Hi Kent is holding a ‘Strictly’ Dance Night at 8pm on Saturday September 17 in Maidstone Grammar School’s main hall, Barton Road, to raise funds. Get in the mood for the next ‘Strictly’ series by learning ballroom and Latin dance moves, taught by a professional dance teacher There will be competitions with prizes and a dance display by Star Dance Club.
